The Wisdomkeeper Connection offers training, consultation, and individual and group coaching in two organizational areas, tailored to the individual needs of the organization:

The Wisdomkeeper Connection recognizes that the essential link to facilitating positive, effective and lasting collective change is the commitment to the journey of individual transformation. As we shift internally, the world around us shifts as well. Creating Wise Leaders is an experiential leadership development program that not only builds individual capacity, but recognizes that system change is a natural result of this undertaking. This half -or full- day workshop introduces participants to key practices of wise workplace leadership. Three cornerstone practices are introduced and explored as hallmarks of a wise leader:

- Seeing the system around you as a reflection of you
- Embracing the wisdom in that reflection
- Choosing how you respond to your experience (“Conscious response-ability”)

Creating Wise Leaders creates a living laboratory for exploring workplace circumstances and leadership development with regard to these key practices.

Following them will naturally shift the world around you. Expect to see things in yourself you have not seen before. Expect the practices to produce powerful results in the workplace, as well as in the whole of your life.

Groups, programs, departments and organizations of all kinds are living organisms. Not only do they have internal systems, much like our bodies, but they exist as part of a larger interactive ecosystem.

For an organization’s systems to work together, core conditions must be present. Without them, companies could not exist. When the quality of these conditions is elevated by a choice for more conscious expression, interacting systems naturally thrive. Health and vitality become an effortless expression.

The conditions necessary for a healthy company are not unlike the foundations that support our own life: breath (exchange with the world), nourishment (input for ongoing growth), shelter (protection from storms), exercise (repetitive best practices), rest (respite) and connection with something greater (mission/soul/ community/networks). The Wisdomkeeper Connection consults with companies to explore and evaluate present workplace conditions and their balanced interaction by asking key questions such as:

Breath:  How does the organization exchange with the world around it? What does it bring in? How does it expand? What does it choose to hold onto? What does it offer out or release?

Nourishment:  What substantive support feeds the ongoing growth of the organization? What is the current capacity to support that growth? How can the organization choose the most optimal nourishment?

Shelter:  What inner and outer storms surround the organization? What opportunity do they bring? How can their power be appreciated? How can the organization remaining willing to be changed by them without placing itself in the direct line of their fury? What containers provide the right amount of protection and safety while maintaining useful vulnerability? How adaptable is the organization to changing conditions?

Exercise:  What practices and actions does the organization engage in over and over? What is the present value in repeating patterns that support (or stall) organizational wellbeing? How can these patterns be channeled to produce the greatest circulation and movement toward vitality?

Rest:  How does rest and pause show up in the workplace? How is it valued and expressed? How can respite be incorporated to support proper functioning and productive results?

Connection with something greater:  How does the organization view its connection to what is larger than itself? How is that both tangible and intangible? Does it have a “soul” and how does that “soul” express? How does the business connect with the surrounding environment? How are the systems and individuals within the organization connected to the organization’s mission and to the larger community?

In all of these areas, we ask: What is the wisdom present in what already is? How may this wisdom inform organizational choices to manifest conscious change while maintaining the balance of the internal and external ecosystem?

As these questions are explored and mapped by the group, the evolving picture reveals rather quickly what aspects are calling for balance and focus. In a dynamic, interactive and engaging process, realities that have been hidden or overlooked are revealed. Existing strengths are brought forward, and new directions become clear.

This process negates any need for strategic plans that seek to acquire solutions to obstacles and problems. The Wisdomkeeper Connection recognizes that nothing is an obstacle or a problem; every revelation is a gateway to choosing greater consciousness and fuller expression. It is the work of The Wisdomkeeper Connection to responsibly guide groups to fully access their creative potential, drive the results they vision, and value and incorporate the unexpected that arises in that process.
